Ellie backs him one hundred percent as neither she nor Connor were concerned with killing three kidnapping sexual predators. Of course after using his weapon he's ordered to undergo eval by the Department. Julie Morrison is the psycologist who works for the county and she's in charge of Connor's eval. So begins one fine read. This one has Connor, Ellie, Sgt. Morton, a mob kingpin named Ayala, the FBI, loads of bad guys, a county commissioner named Stennis and two police officers making headway on crime with a little vigilante justice.
One person found this helpful. No editing errors, gratuitous violence or drag-you-down drama. Procedures, actions, reactions and rule bending are not always realistic. Believable dialogue and characters with distinct personalities. The romantic relationship with the three lead characters was a distraction to the main theme of taking down criminals. No desire to re-read this story. I always enjoy works by this author. It was a well written book. Good vs evil are the type of book I enjoy especially when evil is taken out without worrying about the good being handcuffed by normal 'civilized' rules of society that bad guys do not follow.
It was an easy read but hard to put down.
I will continue to follow their exploits to see where go. There is much violence but not gory, and a little sex that some might find offensive but is not really a big deal. I gave it three stars so that the author would not text me to remove my review. I have read a bunch of this author s books and enjoyed them.
This one I started and read through the usual thirty or so pages before the action typically starts.
Nothing changed for the remainder of the book. TWO partnered police run into shoot out after shoot out from start to finish. Killing more bad guys than an entire police force kills in their careers. It was like a TV series all in one episode. Feel free to mail me the money you would have spent on this book. Seriously, this must have been one of the author s early books. It was light slapstick writing.

Somehow I never engaged with the characters and the plot. I kept thinking "So what? Jan 11, Linda Pobanz rated it it was amazing. Halloween It was to short if I may say. Although it had the excitement of the others, it didn't last long enough. I liked the fact it only hinted at sex. I hope the next one is longer.

Instead, we set up a profile and wait for messages. When we receive a message, we reply immediately and tell them that we are underage. We act young and uneducated on the subject, and we never encourage sexual chat or sexual behaviour. As soon as they have been arrested, we go to the police station to make statements.
